To most Indians though, he is Shri Hanuman Ji, Bajrangbali or Pavanputra Hanuman. He has many other names but these are the most popular.

He played a very important role in the greatest Indian Epic, Ramayana, serving his Lord Rama and Mother Sita.

He is a personification of wisdom, strength, devotion, service and perseverance.

His qualities are all sung by Sant Tulsidas in the great poem, Shri Hanuman Chalisa, which you can read in my other post.

It is also believed that he still exists today, and will continue to do so until the end of Kal Yuga (age of Kali, the present age we’re living in, the age of pure ignorance).

I know it’s hard to believe in real spiritual experiences in modern times but I truly believe he exists still, and can be seen if you really want to see him, with devotional eyes only.
