Yamaha provides a USB-MIDI-Driver for Mac OS X here: http://music.yamaha.com/products/downloads.html?productId=109784&hierarchyid=20024_2002316277
But it seems to be not compatible with OSX 10.5 Leopard since they only mention OSX 10.4.9 so proceed with caution.
Is the keyboard working basically with your Mac ?
Have a look at the 'Audio-Midi-Configuration' application in Applications/System Applications to see if it is recognized.
Your 'Converters' don't help you, since they are only capable of converting data files, not applications or drivers.
And Windows applications only work within the Windows Operating System.

Connect a USB or MIDI cable to your keyboard. Your Yamaha keyboard may have different USB ports depending on the model. There are four types of audio-out ports you are likely to find on your keyboard. USB audio and MIDI: A USB audio and MIDI port is capable of sending both audio and MIDI data. You can connect to these ports using a USB A-to-B cable.

Customers need to install Yamaha USB-MIDI Drivers on their computer if they have an instrument with a USB TO HOST port (looks like a square USB port) on it, or when using our UX16 USB-MIDI Interface. When attempting to connect our 5-Pin MIDI instruments (without USB TO HOST port) to a computer using a 3rd-Party USB-MIDI interface, our customers should contact the manufacturer for connectivity support. 625
